Feeding the ducks!!!

Today we took a 10 minute drive to one of our fav spots; Bothell's Country Village! There is much to do for both adults and kids. We started today with feeding the ducks and roosters(always a kid favorite!) For a quarter you can buy food or bring your own:) After about 15 minutes of feeding the animals we went on a hunt for the rabbits, we found none. (During the spring and summer they are all over!)
Then we were off to Ashlee's fav, the train. To our surprise the train is closed Mondays-Thursdays during the winter, so no train ride or us:( There is however a small playground for kids to play on, pirate ship, merry go round, and a catterpillar tunnel. The park isn't much, but a good spot to stop at while we're there.

Next we head to the Village Bean, a cute little coffee house that caters to kids. Ashlee got a hot chocolate and I orderd a latte(which was great!) I was able to sit and sip my latte while Ash played with the many toys and other children! The Village Bean is a perfect place for lunch or a snack as well. We will definitely will be going back!!!!

While we were there we did a little shopping too!!!! Bella and Max is this adorable kids clothing store and hair salon. You can find amazing clothes and fun dress up items (they have a great aray of tutu's for like $10!!!) In the back is a hair salon, equipped with car and airplane chairs and mini TV's for your tots to watch while getting a trim! With each haricut you get a free train ride as well!!! We booked an appt for Ashlee next week:)
We ended our trip with a quick trip into Toys That Teach. Ashlee played while I shopped around for a bday present(and I found a super cute, unique gift for an upcoming bday party!) There is a great variety of toys, books, puzzles and much more!!!

Overall our trip was great and Ashlee had a "crazy" fun time (her words!!) Country Village is a great place for you and your kids to spend an afternoon!!!

The start of our adventures!!!!

With a very busy 3 (almost 4)year old (and I mean REALLY busy) I sometimes struggle to find new and exciting activities to keep her entertained. Because of this, I started doing A LOT of research on kid friendly activities in our area. This is the start of our lil adventures (with my 2 month old Avery tagging along!)
Today we're off to Country Village in Bothell, we'll let you know how it goes....
